Shipping

All our furniture is made to order. The production and lead times can vary so please check on the individual product page for more information. Typically we work to 12-16 week lead-times but if you need something more urgently, please contact us direct at shop@newbritishdesign.com and we will do our best to help you.

For orders placed outside of the UK, please note that you will be responsible for paying any local duties which may be due.

For delivery to England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, shipping prices are as follow:

  • For orders priced between £0 – £74.99, shipping is £4.50
  • For orders priced between £75 – £199.99, shipping is £10.
  • For orders priced between £200 – £249.99, shipping is £25.
  • For orders priced between £250 – £499.99, shipping is £35.
  • For orders priced between £500 – £749.99, shipping is £75.
  • For orders priced between £750 – £1499.99 shipping is £150.
  • For orders priced between £1500 + shipping is £150.

Please note, unless stated, shipping is to doorstep only. Installation is not included.

For orders requiring two man delivery and install, shipping to an address in England is £150.
For orders to requiring two man delivery and install to Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, shipping may vary.

Returns

New British Design Returns Policy for the United Kingdom and International Orders.

Effective Date: 19-03-2024

We at New British Design strive to provide our customers in the United Kingdom and internationally with the highest quality products and service. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please review our Returns Policy below to understand your options for returning items.

Eligibility for Returns (UK and International):

  • Items must be unused and in the same condition as received.
  • Items must be in their original packaging.
  • Items must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.

Return Process (UK Customers):

  • UK customers can initiate a return by contacting our Customer Service team at office@newbritishdesign.com
  • Provide your order number and reason for the return.
  • Our Customer Service team will provide you with instructions on how to return the item. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Return Process (International Customers):

  • International customers can initiate a return by contacting our Customer Service team at office@newbritishdesign.com
  • Provide your order number and reason for the return.
  • Our Customer Service team will provide you with instructions on how to return the item.
  • International customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Return Shipping (UK and International):

  • UK & International customers: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Please follow the instructions provided by our Customer Service team. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for your protection.

Refunds (UK and International):

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Exchanges (UK and International):

  • UK customers: If you would like to exchange an item, please contact our Customer Service team to initiate an exchange request.
  • International customers: We do not offer direct exchanges for international orders. Please return the item for a refund and place a new order for the desired item.

Damaged or Defective Items (UK and International):

  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact our Customer Service team immediately.
  • Provide photographs of the damaged or defective item, along with your order number and a description of the issue.
  • We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, either by providing a replacement or issuing a refund.

Policy Updates:

  • We reserve the right to update our Returns Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. If you have any questions or concerns about our Returns Policy, please don’t hesitate to contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
